Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
Hey, welcome. If you are reading this it means you care about your privacy and honestly that is something we respect a lot around here. This page explains in plain English exactly what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. No legal jargon, no hidden surprises.
Who we are
We are LittleNookHome.com — a cozy corner of the internet dedicated to reading nook ideas, decor inspiration and DIY guides. When this policy says “we”, “us” or “our” it means LittleNookHome.com and the person running it.
If you ever have a question about any of this you can reach us at: hello@littlenookhome.com
What information we collect
We only collect information that helps us run this site and serve you better. Here is what that looks like:
Information you give us directly — if you sign up for our free newsletter or download our free reading nook guide, we collect your email address. That is it. We do not ask for your name, your phone number, your address or anything else unless you choose to share it with us by emailing us directly.
Information collected automatically — like most websites, our site automatically collects some basic information when you visit. This includes your IP address, the browser you are using, which pages you visited and how long you spent on them. We use this to understand what content people find helpful and to make the site better. We cannot identify you personally from this data.
Cookies — yes, we use cookies. These are tiny text files that sit on your device and help the site remember things like your preferences. Some cookies are essential for the site to work. Others help us understand our traffic through Google Analytics. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings any time you like though some parts of the site may not work as well without them.
Why we collect it
We use the information we collect for three things only:
To send you the newsletter and free guides you signed up for. We send cozy reading nook inspiration, new articles and occasional product recommendations. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom and we will never make it hard to leave.
To understand which content is helpful so we can write more of it. If we can see that our article on dark academia reading nooks gets a lot of readers we know to write more like it.
To keep the site running properly and fix anything that breaks.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your email list with other brands. We do not use your information for advertising. Ever.
Third party services we use
We work with a small number of trusted third party services to run this site. Here is who they are and why:
Google Analytics — helps us see how many people visit our site and which pages they read. Google may store this data on their servers. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Mailchimp or ConvertKit — we use an email marketing platform to send our newsletter. When you sign up your email address is stored on their servers. They have their own privacy policies which we encourage you to read.
Amazon Associates and other affiliate programs — we participate in affiliate programs which means some links on our site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. These programs may use cookies to track referrals. We talk more about this on our Affiliate Disclaimer page.
Pinterest — we embed Pinterest content and link to our Pinterest account. Pinterest has its own privacy policy and may collect data when you interact with their content on our site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you have certain rights over your personal data. You can ask us to show you what data we hold about you. You can ask us to delete it. You can ask us to stop emailing you at any time — just hit unsubscribe or email us directly.
We will always respond to these requests within 30 days.
Children’s privacy
Our site is designed for adults and we do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this privacy policy we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not bury important changes in small print. If something significant changes we will let our newsletter subscribers know directly.
